In describing the 32 Ohm sound, some critics make references to the British, American and German eighties. Though 32 Ohm’s compositions are not strictly limited to just the one style, their trademarks are solid eighties rock and catchy songs jam-packed with atmosphere in which the synthesizer plays a distinctive role.

In 2006 the band arrived on the Dutch-Limburg pop scene with a place in the finals of the Podiumvrees Festival. 32 Ohm released their debut EP “Tripod” and shaped their new songs, getting ready for a new series of performances. After their debut season, as a three-piece armed with a computer processing the rhythms, the band has expanded with a rhythm section of flesh and blood, which completed the band: Guido (vocals), Gaston (guitars), John (keys and synths), Rob (drums) and Ruud (bass). In 2007 the band re-emphasized their position in the scene. 32 Ohm produced a series of new songs in English and in German. The new sound commenced, as presented on their EP "Leidenschaft" in 2008.

Ihre Marken sind solide achtziger Jahre Rock mit Atmosphäre, in der der Synthesizer eine besondere Rolle spielt. Nach ihrem Debüt in der Saison 2006, kam die Band in der niederländischen Pop-Szene mit einer Reihe von Performances. 2007 wurde alles über Freigabe ihrer Debüt-EP "Tripod" und die Gestaltung ihrer neuen Songs. Kürzlich veröffentlichte die Band ihre erste CD "Leidenschaft" als fünf Stück, jetzt in deutscher und in englischer Sprache.

In 2006 stond de band in de Podiumvreesfinale en wist zij haar plaats in de Nederlands-Limburgse popscene te vestigen. De band bracht haar eerste EP “Tripod” uit. Na het debuutjaar als trio, met een computer die de ritmesectie vertegenwoordigde, heeft de band uitbreiding gevonden met een drummer en bassist van vlees en bloed. Eind 2006 en begin 2007 heeft in het teken gestaan van een nieuw repertoire met eigen songs in het Engels en in het Duits. In 2008 bracht 32 Ohm als vijftal de EP "Leidenschaft" uit.
